need advice on comp

#1
I have an interesting situation that I wanted to get some opinions on from people who have stayed at the Venetian/Palazzo. I have a big comp coming up there that I really want to use. I am worried though about how they handle card counters staying in their hotel.

I have heard stories of them charging for comped rooms and possible evictions? Has anyone actually been kicked out of their room there or just evicted from the property when not staying there? If I am evicted, do you think they will try to charge me? Any and all experiences of being backed off/86'ed there are greatly appreciated.

You're probably thinking why not just take the room and stiff them. First off, i'm not comfortable doing that, I just don't like the idea of taking a room and food comps and not playing, and i'm also worried that they may choose to charge me like I heard they did with comped rooms that gave no play in the past.

Also I have heard that wynn and venetian share info. I have a room upcoming at wynn and am worried that a backoff at venetian might cost me that room as well. Any experiences with being able to play at one after backed off at the other or not being able to play is appreciated.

thanks

Wait, you wouldn't want to hurt the casino's feelings by stiffing them, but no problem with trying to beat their games?

You walk a fine and circuitous moral line, son.

Why would you even consider playing at the Venetian? Wynn's I can understand. Try Bartolata's while you're in the neighborhood; great seafood.

They have good games at the black chip level.
I assume that means the 50% DD penetration indicated in CBJN is highly variable depending on how you define "good." Wynn's reliably hits 65%. A 1-6 unit spread would yield a 26.92 versus 44.02 SCORE on those games respectively. But I suppose even a modest win could be worth the time if you're getting those great comps. And hopefully you won't get snow; that really messes up things in Vegas.
