Should losing tickets be produced?

Do you think Glovesetc should be required to produce his losing tickets to prove to everyone that he actually bet and lost what he said he lost? I don't think that I would put any such financial information on line. I'm not saying that Marshall doesn't pay his taxes, but he purportedly represents nine other people. I'm not sure how else one could prove his honesty. On the other hand, I don't think a person's honesty should be impugned without proof. It seems to me the burden of proof is on InPlay. Although I have nothing against InPlay cautioning others. However, I think he should do it in a different thread. Spamming a thread like the Marshall Plan is unfair in itself. That's why I started this thread.

It matters not whether he actually bet the money, the results over the past two years have been more than satisfactory. IMO, Glovesetc displays all the discipline of a professional sports bettor, showing the greatest of restraint in iffy areas, yet not withholding his analysis even in such situations. I for one have learned a lot by frequenting the thread, often in silence, but taking it all in nevertheless.

However, no one wants to be taking advice from someone who is not what he purports to be. No one wants to be part of a scheme to bait and switch participants into an advice-for-pay operation. Not that anyone of the sophisticated gamblers of this Forum would ever fall victim to such a scheme, unless of course, it's a money-maker--then it's a win-win proposition and they'll be "complaining" about being taken in all the way to the bank. lol

Doesn't Glovestc deserve a modicum of privacy. This is not a commercial thread. No one is making money in the business sense. Not only do we have the expert advice of Marshall with two year's record online, but we have the expert advice of other participants who chime in with their own assessments.

Glovesetc has every right to give his opinions in a thread as any of us. Before Ken gave him his own official thread based on a year and a half's experience of him in his own "unofficial" thread, Glovesetc was doing the very same thing as now. Somehow an official spot on the Forum has made him the target of some who want to unseat him. I don't want to judge anyone's motives--the possibilites range from saving Forum members from being scammed to jealousy of another member's popular success. I can't see into another person's heart--so I take their comments at their expressed face value, keeping in mind that maybe I am being deceived.

The question is, "Should Glovesetc have to reveal proof of his honesty for all to see, risking in the process that we drive away an interest-packed feature of the Forum and possibly condemn a man who was just trying to show his appreciation to Forum participants?" Where have I heard of a guiltless person being arrested and brought to trial on false charges and condemned to die? Is it better that one man die than the entire Forum? lol Sometimes exaggeration points to the absurdity of it all.

Bullfeathers! I am voting to keep things just as they are and not to question Marshall's integrity. Enough harm has already been done, even if it was well intentioned. Deal with dishonesty as it arises, A preemptive attack does nothing but spread distrust and ill will. The sophistication of Forum members is sufficient to detect any slick manipulations if and when they occur.

And who here is exactly who they purport to be? Don't tell me that no one online under an anonymous handle ever develops a persona that is not 100% in keeping with their real life selves? Let's not go overboard. I'm afraid to meet half of you. I kind of like believing you are all just who you say you are. I guess I don't want to be disappointed by finding a bald, pot bellied, white haired old man enjoying a few quips instead of the young vibrant energetic and daring musketeers that most of you appear to be. lol Not that I have anything against bald, pot bellied, white haired old men--I be one. lol

PS--I started to do a poll. Something like, do you think Marshall should be required ot prove his integrity? Yes or No. But I didn't like bringing it to a referendum. Even that seems unfair to Marshall or to anyone for that matter. I just had a bad feeling about it, although I figured the result would be something like 18 to 2, No.

I think he should post something. We are not questioning his ability to make picks but I am questioning his motive. MOTIVE nothing else. If you want to get rid of me forever thats all he has to do is produce those tickets (take a picture with a digitial camera) from the 0-5 week a $180,000 worth and I will be gone forever. That's pretty easy since all of you love me looks like I will be around. Just think no more Inplay. I will limp out of here like a whipped puppy with my tail between my legs and never again post. The challenge is up to you Buddy are you ready to get rid of me forever ? I doubt if you ever hear from Buddy again once they are exposed they high tail it for fertile green pastures. I have seen it to many times. It's called trolling for suckers.

The build up is part of the scam. He passes himself off as a big time gambler or investor. Girlfriend, country club, plenty of money to burn, shops at high end places, millions of dollars worth of property and everthing else that he said what I forgot. He makes your lifestyle feel inferior to his so you will not question him and instead look up to him as some who is trying to help you. Next the sickness (THE MEDS) that's how they draw sympathy from you. He makes sure you will always feel sorry for him nobody questions poor sick people. These are the reasons the TOUT"S does this to gain your trust. They have to build a image of a successful image of a person it can't be no ordinary joe.

The ravens giving 3 points for 5k . I also liked Atlanta but that might be a late bet if at all . Minnesota and Philly is will the real team show up and which one will that be ? Personally I do not care to guess which one will show up but Philly is a good road team per se compared to other teams . An educational tidbit - the bye week is a tremendous plus for teams- a word to the wise on that issue . You have to factor that in . The colts and the bolts might be a good over bet - I really need to study that one but I do not like a side at the moment . Indy is peaking and the bolts seem to be doing the same although the beating they laid on the Broncos was brutal but that game is history and frankly was discounted in my mind cause denver has no defense and Cutler is basically the whole team . I wish they would of won be-cause the colts would of destroyed them as badly . Last response buddy - I have no motive at all . I guess you can not accept the fact that some people out there have no motive at all . As far as my posting oif records - forget it buddy that will never happen . The bets posted are all well before gametime and if you want bet them , if not do not. I could care less in reality. Your malicious attacks on me i can handle and I will not stoop to a lower standard to start hurling insults and lies as you have . If it makes you fel like a bigger man to belittle me feel free to . I have handled lots worse then you . In wrapping this up it might be nice if you gave up on this tirade but if you must keep it up please just post one long tirade and that way the people who enjoy the Plan can just ignore it as I am going to do .

Wrong thread. I am just looking for truth and justice in the American way. Make me walk away like a whipped puppy dog with it's tail between it's legs I will be glad to or otherwise everything that I have said is true. Hey it's okay to start a business but let us know what they are. It takes years on the internet to build up a customer base. I have never question your ability to pick winners just your MOTIVE. You are GUILTY as charged. Don't worry you will still harvest some from the field that you have laid done for your service next year. Always plenty of suckers around. I just hope that I have opened up their eyes and shown them what a TOUT really is and how he lays down the seeds and harvestes his crop.
