Question Book suggestions?

I didn't follow Marshall's thread so intensive like others here but it was the reason I became a little bit more interrested in the subject of sportsbetting.

I have never placed a bet at an sportsbook and only read a few explanations of the terms of sportsbetting so far on other sites to understand the lingu a bit better. (+/-, over, under, spread )

So I would like to read some good books about the subjects which help to improve my understanding of this field.

I just ordered King Yao's "Weighting The Odds In Sportsbetting" and hope this was a good investment.

Any opinions about this book or suggestions for other books are very appreciated!

The only sports betting book I've read is Sharp Sports Betting by Stanford Wong. It won't teach you how to handicap a game - I doubt there's any book that could - but it does a really nice job breaking down the math. He covers everything from identifying terms that meet your required edge and risk management, to analyzing special circumstances like NFL home field advantage and March Madness Over/Unders. He does a great job breaking down Poisson prop bets - that chapter alone has covered the cost of the book many times over

One more thing about Sharp Sports Betting. The first chapter explains all of the basics of sports betting. The rest of the book covers the more complex topics. In other words, this book is both rookie-friendly and good for the seasoned veteran.
