Default Single Deck Strategy

I currently use KO-Preferred for multi-deck games but have the chance to play some SD in Reno soon. My questions are as follows:

Should I learn a new strategy with better PE such as Hi-OptII, AOII or Zen? (I’m leaning to the later because it is Ace-Reckoned and I don’t wish to track Aces if I can help it.)

And, how well do unbalanced counts perform on SD?

Would UBZII work well on SD?

Or, perhaps converting to TKO for SD? And which by the way, I have no idea how to do. I have never seen an explanation or indices for TKO.

Or finally, would it be just better to just add more indices to KO since I already have that down pat?

As you can see I’m pretty confused. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Why not stick to the KO... Since you already proficient at it?

The expectation of full KO in SD games is +1.65% and indices for SD can be found at back of book.

Alternatively, you can approximately convert Hi-Lo TC indices to K-O RC by applying this formula:

(KO-count/number of remaining decks)+4 = Highlow(TC)

UBZ is a great choice for single deck. KO will work too. A true count adjustment is optional, just like in a shoe game. But you have to realize that you cannot get down a big spread in SD (1-4 is pushing it and will require camo) and you have to make up for some of that with better insurance and playing decisions, which are much harder for a casino to detect than a spread.
