Here are my favourite moments from UK TV's 'Real Hustle' - anyone know if one could get away with any of this in the modern day casino?

go try it out if we dont hear from you in a couple weeks we know you were arrested...

it wont go over well and i highly doubt you could get away with many of them.

The blackjack scam is nothing more than a really advanced card count its not a scam at all

just watched all of them and boy did the make me cringe.... not possible, set up, illegal and obvious would describe almost every single one

If you're going to cheat, you need to come up with something that no one has done before. The guys that ran Savannah got away with it for a few years, and never got caught.

You should watch the Las Vegas version of the show they have a lot better casino scams.

There's probably a lot of ways you could illegally cheat the casino and get away with it especially if you are in collusion with the dealer, all he has to do is flash a holecard.

Thanks for posting these--I found them very amusing (particularly the way the program "plays up" how cool the tricks are during the show and then ends with a warning that you'll go to jail if you use them).

It certainly will make me keep a closer eye on my own chips the next time I am at the casino!

Yeah, if you have a really good mechanic dealer, you can flash the next card without surveillance seeing. But it's very difficult. If I was ever going to cheat (and I won't) this would be how I would do it.
