MGM Grand Players' Club Escape Promotion

After searching through the promotions listed on http://www.vegas-hotels-online.com, I booked the MGM Grand Players' Club Escape Promotion ((Dead link: http://www.vegas-hotels-online.com/2008/12/27/mgm-grand-players-club-escape-2/)) for an upcoming trip.

This offer says it is for players' club members only. I am a member, but have not received this offer through my players club account. I was able to book the room through the mgm web site nonetheless. Should I be worried that this will cause problems at check in?

The reservation is refundable so I can always switch to something else up to 48 hours ahead so any advice is appreciated.

Don't pay for rooms if you don't have to. You should be able to get a room comped downtown for high red action. Once you are established as a player you should be able to call a host and get rooms comped up front.
