It looks like I may be in A.C. next week. Maybe I'll see some of you guys, and girls, in action. With any luck I'll see you but you won't see me. I will comment later in the week if I see any AP's out there, so bring your A game. I'll be watching and I'm a tough critic lol.

Since I am there about 5 days a week, I can figure that I will likely be around for at least 2 of those 3 days! Maybe we can look each other up and hang out a bit---I'll send you my cell via private message.

OK I was there and this was my best trip yet as a newbie counter. I have only used the counting/wonging method for 2 months now, each at 4 hour or so sessions the last few weekends. This weekend was my best ever, I was even more patient, I again pissed off all the old men by sitting out, I basically get in the game when about 1/2 the cards have been dealt and it is a +2, I dont ramp much yet, flat bet to 2x at a 10 table. I earned 180 dollars Friday night and I played again Saturday and I earned 120 but had less time, due to backcounting and losing that table moving to another one and hitting a bad shoe that I sat out on before getting a few shoes to play. I sat at the tables from 1 pm to 6 pm and earned $120. My total profit for the weekend was $300 and $200 in food comps and the free room. We had a great time and of note was how much better I am doing at Ballys vs Harrahs due to the dealers and the pit. I know we can't discuss here so PM me and I will give details. The 8 deck is tough, I really get to play I would say 20 hands max per shoe as I am not going to throw my money away on those neg 1-11 and upward counts, a few times I saw -22, YIKES! Interestingly, there was a dealer who I think knew I was counting, he was pretty intuitive, really nice guy but damn he made it so so hard, but he wasn't trying to be mean he was so so funny, but rhymes with the cards like oh no another 2, what are we going to do, and to the next person, wow a ten, gotta hit again, the next guy
wow some 8s, a split and another hit. You get my point, singing rhyming and mentioning numbers and adding., **** it wreaks havic on your brain hearing him and counting! I had guys bitching and moaning about me sitting out, jumping in etc, I dont care it doesn't bother me but they are like spoiled children calling the pit and they always say the same thing, her seat her money she can do whatever she likes! I finally got a great table Sunday where no one cared what anyone did and we had great dealers, had a great time and we all were making out OK! Will be going back again next week.
We talked to a host and they said we will not get Saturday night comps until my average bet is $50 a hand irregardless of my tier score. Oh well...

Oh I feel so sorry for all of you playing in AC on Monday.....

I was there about 12 years ago on Chinese New Year..

I had never seen so many in one place before.... besides that, they were some of the worst and rudest players you can ever meet. I hope things have changed since then.

I'm not prejudiced at all, it's just my experience to the event.

Ugh I agree, I am not there Monday. I have a career, so M-F 9-5 play is non existant for me except when I take a day off.

Chinese New Year, I can understand. I am not prejudiced either, but these people are pushy, rude, and completely without manners of any kind.

Was there for a short jaunt this weekend . . . when did the Hilton start allowing mid-shoe entry on the 6D S17 $25 tables? Last time I was there (early December) this wasn't the case.

I have notcied that they have begun to hustle them, in what appears to be an effort to satify larger betting players while simultaniously allowing people to enter the games. Often, if you ask, and you are using a players card, they will pt one up for you! its a pretty useful ability, i did this when i won a boatload on the quickest, and second most lucrative shoe ever in my history of playing, there were three players, and when the count got high, i asked to make it nomidshoe, i dont think the other players knew what it was, and as soon as they sat out they were cooked, eventualy it was me and the dealer with 4 decks left to go, and only 1 deck cut off, they watched and begged to be let in the game as i raped paris hiltons ass for 4800 in one shoe

Only some of the 6 deck 25+ tables are no midshoe, the other couple fluctuate table min, and fluctuate their no midshoe status as well, but for a few of the tables in the mostly low limit pit, the table minimum is not always paired with nomidshoe status and is at the apparent dscretion of the pit.

You should have gotten NJ45girl tor whatever her name is to share your suite with you. You could have some fun playing BJ with her! :laugh::devil:

Good idea about using NMS to your advantage. This is one reason why I try to avoid sitting at empty tables in crowded casinos. You're going to eat the opening hands of the shoe yourself and if/when the count gets good, you're going to have company. I realize the speed advantage of playing heads-up is valuable too but when the store is crowded it's not going to stay heads-up for more than a few hands so no point in extending the number of -EV hands.

That sounds like a pretty direct threat to me. Perhaps you can clarify what you *really* meant by this.

I think that his original comment was immature and unnecessary, but you are similarly out of line. Perhaps moreso - his comment was offensive but at least he didn't threaten you, like you did.

Well it seems I did see a counter this week in A.C., just not sure if it was someone here. I hope not. I will say this occurence happened at the Borgata. Since I did not lay 1 bet on the felt there, nor did this counter get any heat (not surprising) there, I find no need to be too discreet with which casino it was. To not embarrass anyone I will not devulge too much more as to what I saw, but if anyone here is this person and would like to discuss what I saw in a PM, I can give you this info to see if it was you. At a rather full table at the end of a shoe this counter says to the guy next to him, "the count never got above 3 and was as low as -12 at one point." If this was anyone here there seemed to be some flaws in your approach to counting.
