Default Reko

Reko is an unbalanced count and will be +4 after running down a single deck.
According to the below Reko strategy the IRC is -1 and the first raise is at +1
Why? Why does the player have an advantage at that point?

The Initial Running Counts are:

Single Deck: -1
Suggested Betting Ramps
Single Deck:
RC <=0 1 2 3
Bet 15 25 50 75

I note that the IRC for REKO is -20, rather than -24 as in KO Preferred. I also noted that the strategy changes kick in at +2. But what is the key count and pivot for this system?

Using KO Preferred in 6 deck games the indices (ignoring insurance for a minute) occur at -4 (the KC) and +4 (the pivot), so does that mean that for REKO the key count and pivot are the same (+2)?

The point of REKO is that you can ignore all that stuff and still get the gain.
