Best Blackjack in the US
Is there a consensus on the best area in the country for blackjack?
I know that Las Vegas is no longer regarded as tops, if it ever was. I have heard that the Mississippi games are not too hot either. Is there a best at all, or does it mostly break down to casino by casino, with some lone casinos out in the middle of nowhere offering the most promising opportunities?
While we're at it, what about internationally? I was quite disappointed to find out that Macau uses CSMs exclusively and that European BJ is mostly a waste of time, as is Canada for the most part. Makes me think the international scene is not too hot either.

About as hot as you can expect down under is in the Northern State of Queensland. (4 casinos.) In HR rooms (not main floor) you will find hand-shuffled 6-deck games; $100 min $5000 max, with scrutiny.
ENHC, no surrender, double 9-10-11. Dealer stands on soft 17. Split once, split aces once. If you double or split V Ace, that bet returned if dealer makes BJ.
They may comp some of your stay, if you promise certain things. Good luck.

It really comes down to what your definition of best blackjack is? Are we talking rules, pen, heat or other factors such as advanced techniques? Another consideration would be table minimums and maximums depending on your bankroll. The number of casinos in a concentrated area could also be a factor for travel considerations and don't forget comps!
Rules is an easy one with the best games in 1. San Diego 2. Mesquite 3. Sparks. As for pen I won't say which casinos I know are good. There are some totally heat free games in Canada, the mid-west might have the best all around games when all factors are considered but Vegas is probably #1 when you consider the amount of casinos, the variety of rules and games and the bet ranges available for all players and the decent comps. But of course this is all just my opinion!

If you're looking for a game with ridiculously good penetration and lots of dealer mistakes in your favor, you're probably best off with a small out of the way place. Which no one will tell you about.

UK game.
In the UK, whilst there is no single or double deck games (that I'm aware of) and the HE for a 6 decker is c-0.67%, the lack of counter-spotting awareness amongst the floor staff in most casinos out of London, and therefore the ability to apply huge spreads, more than compensates for the disadvantages.
It doesn't matter if a game has an advantageous ruleset or lower HE, if the moment you ramp a bet you get heat !
So European BJ isn't a waste of time if you can afford to bet spread liberally with a fairly high unit value (say £25.00). But alas, my pocket is minimal . . . .
