you know las vegas is full of casinos an rich people who doesnt know what to do whit their money.it was easy towon for a dealer but since the card counters appeared everything has changed..casinps have lost millions of dollars because of this strategy so they had to invent somethig for detecting card counters..there are cameras over the tables, tables are scanned, computer programms are counting cards and many other thing helps to detedt to card counters..i have never been to Las Vegas so is there a real chances to win something by card counting and avoid detecting?

If you are a skilled BJ player, you should do fine. My latest trip, I had not a single losing session.Thats certainly not a typical result but the only place I got any heat at all was The Pioneer in Laughlin, when I won three straight sessions. After two nice wins, I decided I'd go back and flatbet a third, figuring I'd have some attention. After sitting down, my first ten hands were either BJs or winning DDs. When it was my turn to cut,I cut myself a BJ three out of four times. I doubled down 9 vs 7( on a $5 bet) and pulled an Ace. Since i plan on being back in April, i decided to end my session there and then.

Yes, you can win money. No, you won't become an instant millionaire.

Sure I have been detercted, backed off and even barred but these things are the exception considering the many times I have been in Vegas counting cards.
You need to know something about bet levels for different casinos. Vegas is not just one place, it is many places and every single one of them is somewhat different.

Meaning, a $50.00 bet at the El Cortez or Plaza might get attention whereas a $50.00 bet at Mandalay Bay or MGM won't. Now, I was pretty green to CC but I about crapped my pants when the dealer at El Cortez yelled "chax pray" on a $40 or 50 bet. I decided to play downtown for the 1st time after hitting the strip hard on a few trips, I didn't get checks play yelled out on the strip unless I was spreading from $25.00 to $200.00, all double deck. And I'm not saying the checks play were yelled out every time I went $200.00 or more.

At it's simpliest, we should all know the difference between playing at the Sweaty Spaniard and at the MGM.
With experience you will pick up differences in the ways of things between different casinos that seem to handle equal amounts of money or differences between how different pits and shifts work.
You will know that in certain casinos you can spread $25-$300 in six deck but will have a hard time getting away with a spread of $25-$150 in DD.
You will know that in certain casinos on certain shifts there is much more heat than on other shifts.
You will know that in certain casinos pen will not only vary by dealer but by shift.
You will know that even though two casinos are owned by the same corporation, might be next door to each other and offer the exact same games, the situation in one of those casinos can be much better than in the other.

Every place is different, within every place every pit can be different and within every pit each table can be different.

This maybe but, but if I am not mistaken. The Casino higher Ups originally hated surveillance, its a non money making department, its only there because NVGCB mandates there has to be cameras. Since that time, casinos have taken advantage of it by trying to save the house money by chasing away Counters. Now Casinos want surveillance, Risk Management, this day and age of lawyers and suing everyone. The eye saves the casinos allot of money, so its done a 180.

It's funny, sometimes no matter what the count is, the ****ing dealer pulls the hand. I have observed that when you're hot and the count is good and you're winning you can't enjoy it for too long or you will get heat. When the cards are advantageous and you can't win, its so hard to leave. Discipline, Discipline, Discipline. I think counting is great, but the flow of you're doing that night also has to come into play. Maybe I'm wrong, its just what I have seen. I went out last night and had 4 or 5 good shoes. I played on a six deck shoe, and only one of the shoes did I win. It just wasn't going for me and I couldn't leave, my dumb ass stayed and stayed. Any thoughts on this, will this equal out eventually when playing allot. Or is there something to lady luck?
