Default Plaza/Vegas Club promo- too good to be true?

According to the Vegas Values blog, these clubs are having a promo where you get a card and the dealer clips a spot for each BJ. Get 5, 10 or 20 and trade them in for a prize. Nice, but here is the kicker. Get a BJ the hand after one( in other words, 2 BJs in a row) and you win 10X your bet. I'd be upping my bets the next hand after a BJ if I were playing. Sure, it doesn't happen very often, but over a long weekend, it'll come up once or twice. Having a decent bet out will certainly up your trip income. A $5 BS player who ups his bet to $10 on the hand after a BJ should win a $100 bet about every 21 bets. That pretty much moves the game into the black, no?

If this is for real, you've stumbled onto a doozy of a dingle. Pull this post and prep your BR. Me thinks there may be some fine print like "ON A 2ND BJ WIN 10 X YOUR BET!!! in players points only"

Ok I went and looked it up and from what I've read at americancasinogude it is 10X on your INITIAL bet. So that implies to me that bet ramping after a BJ won't be included. But that rule still makes the game +EV around 1% by my calculations (with a high variance on those back to back blackjacks). So still worth playing. Also if you are counting and in a high count you will get more blackjacks AND have a higher bet out already so makes the game a little extra rich for a counter. Good luck.

The signs I saw offered a free sweater for 11 BJs and a bottle of rum for 21 BJs. I believe the 10x payout for back-to-back BJs (on bets of $5-$50, excluding SD games) is still active.

I only mentioned it here since Vegas Values with its supposedly 250,000+ readers had already outed it.

You could probably sell those bottle of rum for $10 or so. All-in-all, not a bad promo.

I don't know about a sweater after 11 BJ's, but after 21 I would definitely (note the strange spelling of that word) need a bottle of rum!

Plaza/Vegas Club have some very nice promos from time to time. Not all that well thought out from the casino end, but nice for players. i just wish i'd get a chance to be there more often.

The uninformed reader will do well to note that these
properties are among the most paranoid in existence.

These stores don't graciously tolerate Green action
or chunky Red action by those with I.Q.'s above 84.
