Hi-Low or KO?

#1
Hey guys, I have a couple quesions for you seasoned veteran counters. Does it pose as a problem if the casino you will be going to has the discard tray blocked so you cant see the remaining decks in play? Im just learning how to count cards using Hi-Low and was wondering if this is a problem since I assume you will have trouble estimating the true count. In a situation like this would I be better off using an unbalanced count such as KO? is it just as effective as Hi-Low? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It'll definitely make it more difficult, and an unbalanced count like KO would be a good idea.

I'd be wary though - why are they blocking the view of the cards? Can you trust that they aren't cheating?

K-O or UBZII would be your best choice for this scenario.

deff KO, the unbalance makes it way easier than a true count like Hi/Lo .. and u can always upgrade to a more difficult system later if you decide

UBZII is easier to learn and use than Hi Lo and is FAR more powerful.

it's also free and open source here on BJInfo!

Buy the KO book first if you're not sure you're serious about this. It's $15 and is a GREAT all around read.
