I recently discovered that a friend of mine made serious money playing poker online. Poker has never been my vice - I'm much more blackjack man, so I though "hell, if he can...."
Anyway, I'm wondering if you could proffer any advice as to the following?
1/ I looked around here and there for a reputable online casino and ended up playing (with play money, not real $$$) over at PartyCasino.com. I based this on a lazy afternoon of research, which is a great way to lose money!
Can anyone clue me in as to whether these folks are on the up and up in regards to payouts on winnings etc? I would check with something akin to the Kahnawake Gaming Commission (which regularly audits online poker) - if I knew how. Is there such a thing for blackjack? Failing that, does anyone have any opinions or know anything about these folks?
2/ As I understand it....there's generally some kind of catch with online blackjack, such that you can't withdraw your winnings until you reach some multiple of your initial outlay. Eg - start with $50...need to win $1000 before can withdraw. Is that correct?
Any advice appreciated.
PS: I'm not in the US (Aus), should that make a difference
PPS: Someone asked about Paypal on another thread....it seems these folk accept it (perhaps illegally?). Just a FWIW / for your troubles in reading my thread
