How Many Hours Per Trip?

How many hours can you put in with 72 hrs to play in Las Vegas? Realistically? Yes, I realize a lot of factors play into this. I was just wondering what other peoples experience has yielded them. I am looking to spread 25-300 playing a S17 6d LS game with the usual DAS DA2 3:2 rules of a playable game there. I am not sure how many of those even exist I haven't looked or played a lot the last few trips I took there.

I also will be wonging but I am treating that as a seperate statistic.

Mainly just wondering from someone who does it how much playing time I can count on without getting heat. Also, does that spread even raise an eyebrow in Vegas at all since I can do it at a 5-500 table or do I need to play at 25 min tables to readily find the said game...

Thanks

You probably shouldn't, or, alternatively, you should specify whether you count Wonging out to take a dump to be "playing time" or not.

You should also specify whether you plan to play at fewer places for longer periods of time, or table hop from casino to casino, and whether you count walking from one casino to another to be "playing time" or not.

You are right, many other factors play into this. Are you traveling alone or with spouse, GF who will want to see a show, shop ect along the way. Are you on business or is this trip just devoted to playing blackjack and mostly how much do you want to play?

I go to vegas twice a year for the sole purpose of squeezing in as many hours as I can. I was in vegas for 10 days earlier this month and played 111 hours. That was a lot for me as I usually average about 10 hours per day. I usually only play 5-6 on a couple days of a longer trip so I can hit the clubs a bit. For a short trip of 3 days I would most likely get 36 hours in.

Yes for wonging I meant wonging at casinos other than the ones I will put most of my time in as a time killer.. Maybe I will.. Maybe I won't type of thing. I am talking actual table time, not including dump/walk/eat/drink time.

As far as the table hop or casino hop I don't really care.. I am talking actual playing time without heat.

KJ.. Thanks for the info.. Wow 10 days over 100 hours  Everytime I have gone before I was with a gf or friends so I never really played that much for the reasons you mentioned. I have been planning on taking trips bi-monthly solo for the sole purpose of cramming hours. I was hoping to get about 40 in per 4 day 3 night trip or 30 per 3 day trip.

Locally where I play $300 is considered a HUGE bet and betting $25 min is probably considered High Roller status. In Vegas is it possible to play for say 4 hours that way on 6d without heat or should sessions per club be short? What about a couple hours per table in the same joint for about 6 hours?? Just trying to have a game plan to stick to.. It seems $25-$300 on 6d is considered non threatening to Vegas casinos from what I have experienced.. A $300 bet never even got a glance from the pit but my sessions and total play time were always short.
Thanks.

Casinos vary. $25 -$300 spread can be threating to some and not to others. Never getting a glance from the pit doesn't always mean that you haven't drawn attention. I never play in the same casino for 6 hours nor at the same table for 2. But thats just me. My sessions are an hour at most (usually shorter) and I don't play more than 2 or 3 sessions in the same casino. Thats the beauty of vegas. Many casinos in one area. I just walk up and down the strip hitting one after the other.

True. Do they have 6d s17 games readily available these days??
Thanks

The safest thing is to limit your sessions to < 1 hr.
You can move around to different pits and different casinos.

MGM Grand is so big you could probably just move around MGM for a while.

Its up to you to balance safe vs. how much do you want to walk around and as a result cut into your EV.

Since it's Vegas and not local to you, I would say hit them harder and have longer sessions unrated.
