Default Commerce Casino? hawaiian gardens casino?

has anyone been to commerce casino? what are the house rules for their blackjack game? how many decks? do they have good conditions for counting cards?
what are there minimum and maximum bets?
any success stories here?

has anyone tried counting cards at Hawaiian Gardens Casino? It's a variation of blackjack where you have the option of playing banker. I believe they have 8 deck shoes, automatic shufflers, burn three cards at a certain point, and switch dealers often. minimum bet is 5 and max is 50 to prevent the all of the sudden big bets from favourable decks. Is it even possible counting cards here?

Default No good.

They are both non-Indian cardrooms so they do not have regular BJ games. Hawaiian Gardens has a bastardized version called Blackjack Poker and I don't think Commerce has any BJ at all.

here is the deal, they charge a per hand commission at most of these places. I've scoped out oceans 11, hawaiian garden, hustler and either bicycle or commerce, i can't remember. they all charge about $1/hand, or at higher bets a percentage. This makes the house edge equivalent to a 6:5 game. many of these joints use CSMs not ASMs too, so no point. They are often player backed or 3rd party backed games.

Apparently there is a way to make money if you are the banker, but I haven't a clue, and think it would probably be very risky. I wish someone could clear this up for me once and for all.... Bueler?

What is it you want cleared up?

The card rooms have corporations to bank their games since they aren't allowed to bank them themselves. The corporations kick back to the casino owners. If you go in and try to bank in any serious way the casino will bar you to protect the corporation.

Last I checked they were dealing a game called 21st Century blackjack. Legally they can't deal regular BJ so they have come up with various variations.

well i went in and scoped these places out and there is a corp sitting at first base, but banking rotates - most players pass, but everynow and again someone says, sure i'll bank. it seems that each person banking (even the corp) gets 2 rounds, then it rotates, usually, it never leaves the corp. the side bets are all covered by the corp even insurance, but all BJ bets are covered by whomever is the banker that round. the banker has to pay a similar fee to each player between $0.5 and $2 a round. in all aspects it is a true BJ game, CSM and all! DAS 3:2 H17 LS probably 2-4D CSM. The house edge is probably low, but the way most people play in these joints correlates well with the fact that they are paying $1/hand just to play BJ.

let me know if you know anymore. i'd be greatly appreciative.

They can't deal regular BJ in a Ca card room. At the commerce they deal a game called no bust BJ. Here are the rules.

http://www.commercecasino.com/gameDe...ype=california

If you are a very friendly guy you can go to one of these tables, take your bank for 2 hands, chat up the guy next to you and say, let's share your bank, and share a bank with him on 2 more hands, then talk to the guy on your other side. The right personality can get in quite a lot of banking this way. The opportunities are actually better at Pai Gow Poker, but if you start cutting into the corp in a serious way they will find a way to get rid of you.

Also, if they think you can beat them they won't deal to you as a player.

The card rooms in CA are still the wild west. There is more thieving and stealing going on than you can possibly imagine, and no law agency really cares.

I'm not disagreeing with you. It's been a long time since I've visited these casinos. I don't understand why they would bar a banking player. Whether or not the banking player wins or loses, the casino still gets their commision on every hand.

The casino has a financial arrangement with the corporation, so they will protect the corporation's interest.

And if you want to just play - not bank - the corporation can just refuse to bank against you.
