just got back from weekly borgata trip

i had a positive count early in the shoe and increased by bet ramping eventually from 2 to 10 units
during the shoe , the lady sitting next to me said that I must know something and started to mirror my bets.
Not to draw heat i quicly left the table.
anyone have similar experiences & how did you handle it

Playing chunky green at the Big B' I was half-shoed and a counter-catcher
followed me around harassing me with hostile sarcastic statements.

Raise your bet in a really neg. count and when she isn't looking pull it back and put out the min. :laugh:

These people get paid for saying these kind of stuff? Some job. The casino could save money by the pit handing you a card that says simply "Piss Off" or something. They must have a staff book where they get their 'hostile sarcastic statements' ideas from. Can you recall any, Flash? (Some could be good for t-shirt messages.) :cat:

It was some years ago of course.

I was very 'pissed off', but "freedom of speech" reigns supreme.

i personally think it's pretty hard to get caught playing at the borgata since there's a lot of big money on the tables (yes, even these days). if you are getting caught i suggest you re-evaluate your playing/wonging/spreading strategies....

The last sentence is always true, doesn't matter where.

I got caught at the Borgata, playing 1-8 spread in high limit. Not too many trips before I got noticed. PC doesn't have any conversations with me. I was just get shuffle call and 50% pen, as soon as they get my player's card. The only time the floor man talked to me was when I tried to play two hands. He said I can't play two spots. I asked why. He replied that was management's decision and I could talk to the manager if I like. That was it.

So my conclusion is that you could hide yourself longer if don't play in high limit room.

Yes... avoid the high limit rooms unless you have an absolutely compelling reason. They're all NMS entry, and all players in there are under scrutiny for all kinds of reasons.
