Ken - time for a new subforum?
Since there are always a lot of requests for optimal bet ramps, index numbers and other computations wouldn't it be at the time to create new subforum where such topics get concentrated?
just a thought...

Makes sense. A "computing" subforum under blackjack sounds like just the ticket. I'll get it added, though maybe not tonight.

Just throwing in my two cents.
The more subforums a forum has, the less active it's going to appear to be.
I would advise against it, but that's just personal opinion.

I also vote against... but perhaps its time to remove some forums - the e-casino promotions forum could just be archived, for example - make some room for an endless patter of stodgy geeky meaningless precision. zg

I can understand you both, the time will show if this subforum will be accepted. I thought it's probably a good idea especially for new members or members who don't have the equipment to do the calculations. It's also easier to search for a solution of a problem in the right place.

I would also tentatively recommend against it, as it would help the "card counting" subforum retain critical mass.

I'm with the other against it.

The card counting subforum's critical mass would undoubtedly be retained, indeed enhanced, if one would complete his classic epic thread. (hint, hint)

I realize a poll would have been probably more appropriate. lol
But as the majority seems to be against a new subforum for comprehensible reasons I will refrain from the original idea.
