Default $15 BJ at Wynn paying even money?

There is a thread on another website claiming that there are now $15 tables at Wynn that pay even money for BJ. I seriously doubt it's true, but has anyone heard anything like this?

Is the poster sure that it's not one of the blackjack variants? Blackjack Switch and Super Fun 21, off of the top of my head, both pay 1:1 BJ and look a lot like blackjack.

I think this explains the confusion. I strongly doubt whether Wynn has adopted this. I wouldn't put it past the Harrah's places, however.

Blackjack switch can be kind of fun diversion from counting, I played it for an hour at Casino Royale earlier this year.

I don't know. I doubt it's true and am not trying to start a rumour. Supposedly there is a video at VegasRex but when I tried to log on,it turned into a problem. Evidenty, I'd previously registered and don't remember either my password or id.

I can't log into the vegasrex forums any more either, something screwy happened, and I haven't emailed anyone to complain.

Anyway, last time I went (over a year ago) during slow times, like the morning you could find a few $15 tables at Wynn. Most, not all, were CSM. But they paid 3:2.

It's not true, Vegas Rex is harping on a dealer mistakenly saying something he immediately corrected. He offers a video as proof of Wynn paying even money and all it is is a dealer making a mistake that he corrected.
Guess the torchs stay unlit and the pitchforks go back in for another day.

'Blackjack Switch' is now at both The Wynn and Encore so that may explain it. Incidentally, they are both adding a 2nd table at each property after just a week of trying it.

Best regards

Geoff

Oh, goodie. I've been simming BJS in anticipation of my next trip to Vegas; I thought I was going to have to slum it at Casino Royale to play.

Not from the folks who know how to beat it.
