Ok so I am finally making to sin city in about 6 wks, I am staying right on the strip Harrah's.

If memory serves me I am not to play on the strip and play @fremont?

What about good places for grub and shows?

I recommend the 99 cent deep fried Twinkies at the Mermaid Lounge on Fremont Street.

Lol, those are really good. Ask Dave for the $5.00 fish 'n chips special while you are there...

I like the Nathan's dog and fries. The oreos and twinkies are a little extreme for me with all the grease lol. But it works well with a hangover

Ask a mod to move this to the Las Vegas forum, it's active and you'll probably get better responses.

Any reason why you're staying on the Strip but playing downtown? Rooms are cheaper downtown and probably not that different from Harrah's. If you got a promo, fine, but recognize that it's either not cheap or not quick to get downtown.

Shoe games on the Strip are decent if you Wong; I hear there are some good DD games but the minimums are $25.

That depends whether you're going to spend most of your time downtown or on the Strip. What price range are you looking at for food?
