Index tables are far more important in single-deck games than in multi-deck games. Unfortunately, the count is less accurate than it could be in single-deck games because you do not get to see the other players’ hands before making your playing decisions. Counting by Inference refers to methods of estimating the count of cards in face down hands by the actions of the other players. For example, if the player hits against a low upcard, assume he has two small cards and up your count.

In face-down games, if a player stands against a strong-card, temporarily count it as -1, if his HIT cards(face-up) equal 10 or more, count it as +1 Against any up-card, for level 1 counts.

Once you see their cards, revert back to the original count.

If a player repeatedly hits until he has 4 or 5 cards, it is unlikely that he has a single face card.

If the dealer shows a 7 or better and a player stuffs his cards, he is likely to have 17 or better; so he he has 2 high cards more likely than anything else.

Good post flash. Also note how the player plays soft hands (incorrect bs). Sometimes they will play the soft hand incorrectly and they can be holding an ace. Just note their play strategies and you will have an even better idea of what they are holding.
