Blackjack Variation/Betting Spread

If i say was to find a blackjack game where the rules were that basic strategy must be played at all times, that is you must stand on a hard 15 to a dealers 6 up card (you have no other options allowed). The game being dealt from a shoe with 6 decks say. Would this be a potentially profitable game?

Also if i had a betting spread of 1 to 8, betting say min unit of $5 and max of $40 and potentially going up to a min unit of $100 and max of $800, would this in anyones experience attract much attention and extra scrutiny as to whether you are card counting or not?

Deviations from the play of your hands, doesnt really matter that much in multiple decks, so "that" shouldnt affect your EV yoo much.

What matters if its profitable or not (besides skill) are the rules and pen.

Every casino, like every pit-boss, is different in terms of heat. Nevertheless making a Maxbet of $800 will draw attention on different levels, no matter, where or how you do it.

Thanks for that, the game i am looking at has the following rules

6 decks, S17, DAS, No Surrender, Peek

Would this be beatable with optimal basic strategy play and card counting with a spread of 1 - 8 units

It depends on the penetration. Why are you not allowed to deviate from basic strategy? Does that mean you can't take insurance?

The penetration would be about or more the 60%....not allowed to deviate from basic strategy because the game is called basic strategy blackjack (a very very new game) the only exceptions made is you are allowed to take insurance if you want, you don't have to double down if you don't want to and if basic strategy calls for a split you can elect to only play one hand.

1-8 wont beat that with only 60%

There is a free simulator at blackjackforumonline.com that you can use to see what count games are worth.

I am saying at least 60% as i haven't really looked at the penetration of the deck yet and is just based on my memory from a few games i have played. However if we did assume it was just 60% what would be a decent spread without attracting too much attention that should beat that sort of game and what would be a decent one for a higher deck penetration percentage?
