gun shots at Taj Mahal

God, I was just getting out of town when this was happening.

With the amount of money in a casino this crime is relatively rare, fortunately. Although I would like to see casinos change their policies and encourage concealed carry permit holders to carry in a casino. That sign "Gun Free Zone" always makes me nervous, it translates roughly as "Sitting Ducks Here."

as much as id love to protect myself when carrying thousands of dollars in my pockeys, allowing CCL holders to carry in an alcohol-filled, adrenaline-pumping casino environment is asking for trouble. not from folk like you or me, but from the plenty of moronic ppl who could easily qualify for a CCL and walk into a casino.

Very true, only problem is the morons are going to carry whether they're allowed to or not. I'm convinced the reason psychos like to shoot up schools is that they know no law-abiding person there will be able to shoot back.

It would be unfortunate if casinos reacted with the metal detectors and all that.
