Without being redundant, isn't the "best positive progression" an oxymoron? One is as good as another since none of them change the house edge and consequently, they give you no better chance of losing less.

Since the more aggressive the progressive system is,the worse it is,I would say the least aggressive progressive would be the best.Something like Oscars Grind is about as good as you'll get.
But flat betting,if you aren't tracking cards is better.

A positive progression will just make you put more money on the table and thus give the casino more of your money to apply their house edge to.

The only reason to play a positive progression is to increase your chance of having a good win in the short term, but to do this you also increase your chance of having a bad loss in the short term, and it will increase your loss long term as well.

If you insist on playing a positive progression, make sure you have a stop limit set in place, something like 5 wins or whatever you chose, then either start again from one unit, or bank half and bet half or whatever.

I've had one small success using oscars grind at a land based casino, but it was only $100.

As the other guys said though, positive progressions are just a different way to lose money (in the long run).
