Blackjack With Odds

#1
This is a new game I saw and played in Mississippi.
It was in the Silver Slipper...
Game was great. It is regular blackjack with a side bet(called Odds Bet)
If you play the side bet you win extra money depending on how much you beat the dealers hand by.Also you get a bonus payout if your first 2 cards are aces(I think it was 25-1 for Aces suited and 10-1 for not---I hit that a couple of times) but the main reason I played it was I got paid extra money for beating the dealer by either 4 points(like dealer has a 17 and I got a 21)
or if i got a 19 and dealer had a 17 i won by 2 and got 2-1 payout more if you beat the dealer by more or dealer busts...

I have heard of Blackjack with Odds game...
I seen it in Oklahoma---I believe at the Cherokee Casino
and at the new casino---River something---I think
it used to be Creek Nation in Tulsa...
Great Game for Blackjack players---more payouts than
just even money when you beat the dealer---it gives
you higher payouts depending by how many points you beat the dealer by---
even if you tie you do not lose and it also gives you a extra bonus for 2 aces.
This game is the best side bet to Blackjack I ever seen---better than any
21+3 games are the hard to win side bets like Lucky Ladies which are house advandage games...I would like to know if anyone else can tell me were else it is played---I live in Florida and travel to Mississippi and someone said it is just making its rounds there 1 at Silver Slipper and going into Hard Rock Biloxi as well...

is there a way to calculate any advantage on this?

Any math experts take a look at this? I'm just thinking of the old adage, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." :)

Without knowing the exact rules of the side bet, it would be impossible to quantify the house edge. However, I would bet my entire life savings on it being substantial.

That's not to say it couldn't be vulnerable to counting though, depending on the rules.

I highly doubt a casino is offering an off the top edge on a side bet. They calculate advantages on games before they put them into casinos, or else they would be out of business. Thats not to say some promotions and other opportunities aren't available for off the top advantages.
