Default Trop suites?

Are the suites in the Tropicana any good?

How about compared to a regular room at a typical (major) strip property? (MGM, Mirage, etc.)

Default Suites at the Trop

The suites I have seen in the front tower have terrific strip views, have a large living room/bar area and a large bedroom but no jacuzzi. So you would have a ton more room than at a regular room at any other hotel, but nothing really fancy and I think some of them have upgraded tvs and some have tvs right out of the 1970's.

The suites on the top two floors of the back tower offer more. They seem to all have large jacuzzis, some have a second half bath along with a full bathroom that has a separate steam room, separate sauna room and separate shower room besides a huge sink area with two sinks. They also have the large living room/bar area and large bedroom. I believe the tv's in those suites have all been upgraded (somewhat, remember it is the Trop). Views from backtower suites can be an OK strip view or, if facing the back a view of parts of the airport, so if you care about view make sure you are facing the strip.

My suggestion would be to find out just what your suite includes.
