Billy Mays found dead
I thought this was a gag at first.
TAMPA, Fla. -- Tampa police say Billy Mays, the television pitchman known for his boisterous hawking of products such as Orange Glo and OxiClean, has died. He was 50.

I would like to see Katweezel be the new pitchman for orange glow. he could come out and introduce himself in one of those cork hats, and then watch the money roll in.

A couple of points here Brutus. 1 Usually, in big pink letters on my almost-white Tshirt I have just one word: FREQUENTLY and it's missing on your pic.
2 This get-up with the hat and corks was going to be my cover, in Vegas. Now, thanks to you, I will have to think of something else to keep PitFlies offa me.
3 Did Billy used to flog #9 moonshine on TV as well as all that other crap?

Billy Mays convinced consumers to purchase OxiClean. "Oxi" in Greek means "No". Whenever I saw his pitch and saw the OxiClean product, I couldn't help but think, NoClean . It takes a true genius to create a successful brand name that contradicts the product.

You mean, like Trident. Roughly translated in some lanugage as Three Teeth?!? Not bad for a chewing gum!

Speaking of which...
How about GM's brain child of the Chevy Nova? No va in Spanish means "doesn't go". No wonder they're where they are today.

Boy, you must be confused. Are you suggesting that GM is where it is today because it produced a wildly popular car for some twenty years?
The South American version of the Chevy 11,nicknamed Nova, was the Model 400, and was fairly popular in its day.
