It's a big deal to convert the time when you half way around the world.
How about Universal Coordinated Time (UTC or ZULU) It takes care of all the time zone differences. Everyone's on the same page.
09:00 P.M. EDT = 01:00 Z

Last I checked, Arizona, along with certain counties in Indiana and Maine were still considered North America.

It may be boredom or pickiness, but you do have a point. I'll update the announcement to simply say "Eastern" for the times, and add UTC as well.

If you can't figure out how to convert time zones, you should not be playing AP blackjack in the first place.

What i meant is that all the states in NA change their time at the same time from S to D, so the time difference between Pacific and Easter is always 3. But like the sarcasm anyway .
I am locking the thread, if you need to discuss time zones or how to build a time machin. Please pm me.

Someone please take a look at the announcement now, and make sure I didn't bungle the process. And, yes, this means that the announcements will need revision when Daylight Savings time ends.

I think our chats are best left unpublished. In my opinion, the chats will be a more useful feature if participants know their comments won't be permanently archived and searchable by Google.
Opinions?

One idea is to have the transcripts available for 3 days after the scheduled chat date, but then deleted after that.
