KISS! The time zone converter
Hey Guys,
I like to share with you the time zone converter. Why the fuss? Why bother to post the Eastern, Zulu, or Martian times for the chat? Simply post the Eastern time for the chat, and the Non-Easterners just use the time zone converter to find out their local times...KISS!
Here's the link for the converter. Click on the link & scroll down the page to use the converter.

How about Universal Coordinated Time (UTC or ZULU) It takes care of all the time zone differences. Everyone's on the same page. "

"It may be boredom or pickiness, but you do have a point. I'll update the announcement to simply say "Eastern" for the times, and add UTC as well.
Someone please take a look at the announcement now, and make sure I didn't bungle the process. And, yes, this means that the announcements will need revision when Daylight Savings time ends. "

What i meant is that all the states in NA change their time at the same time from S to D, so the time difference between Pacific and Easter is always 3. But like the sarcasm anyway."

Minus or add one hour for DST and I'm getting close to what time the chat starts... yesterday. Hey Pat, thanks a lot mate. You can only be one hellova AP.

I love your sense of humor Katweezel! You are hilarious!! The chats are only a 6 hour difference to my time zone but I still miss most.
Btw, if someone has difficulties converting time zones, Firefox has a nice add-on called FoxClocks.

I like to ride in the back of the bus and let somebody else do the driving.

Where the hell is it?
From Shadroch:
" Last I checked, Arizona, along with certain counties in Indiana and Maine were still considered North America."
Sounds like you have your fair share of morons there too; just like here. Hopefully, Shad might continue geography lessons on a regular basis. Frankly, I don't give it much hope, since I recall GWB when he was out here giving his farewell speech in Sydney, when he thanked... Austria. I think that's somewhere in...uh, is it South America?

I'm something of a collector of funny quotes. Here are some timeless classic Bushisms from history.
" And my concern, David, is several." (to NBCs David Gregory April 3 2007)
" I don't read books, but I have friends who do."
" I want to make sure everybody who has a job wants a job."
I miss your creative talent George...

So that those who don't want a job can go on welfare, stupid!
Obama on the other hand says that he wants to make sure that everyone who does not have a job does not want to have a job--so they can stay on welfare, of course.
That's the difference in the two parties.....one wants you to go on welfare and the other wants you to stay on welfare! What is wrong with this picture?
