VP in Atlantic City
I want to give video poker a try and I was wondering if anyone on here knows which casinos have the best machines? Also, are there any 9/6 Jacks or Better machines in Atlantic City? I know the Borgata has a $100 free slot play for new members, do they have any good VP machines there? I am going to Atlantic City next week and want some sort of plan as to where to go for the best machines.

I've done well with the VP machines at the Borgata, but I don't know exactly what the payout is. I don't think they are those choice machines you read about, -.1% and the like. lol I once checked a list of good payouts that I got on the Wizard of Odds, I think, and none of them were there. lol The machines at the Trump Plaza are nothing but a rip off. Since I only play deuces wild, I can't tell you about other games.

I will most likely be playing VP at the Borgata with my $100 free slot dollars, then hitting the tables there as well. I like to break up the table play. Anyone have a good recommendation for a good VP machine/s at the borgata and where exactly they are. I know vpfree2.com has some but I was looking for personal recommendations. Also if its not JorB how does basic strategy vary? Are there any 9/6 JorB in the Borgata? Thanks.

Be aware that most casinos in Nevada and Mississippi refuse to allow machine "free play" at V.P. machines.
I believe that that does not apply anywhere in A.C.

Yes, pretty much all JoB at the Borgata is full pay. Every AC store has it.

I haven't been there in over a year, but I used to play a 9/6 JOB progressive quarter machine at Caesars.

Tropicana VP
I had a heck of a lot of trouble finding a 9/6 J o B vp machine that was under $1 and I only found one which was 9/6 and it was $1. After spending about 45 minutes searching everywhere for them, I gave up and used my slot dollars at one of those new VP machines that allow you to play like 5 hands and has the bonus bet multiplier or whatever. I have to say I'm quite suspicious of that machine as I had two high cards about 10 times and each time even playing 3 hands at once, I was unable to even get a pair or better!!!!
