I was getting a lot of heat yesterday so I entered into a staring match with the pit critter who was watching me like a hawk and I just put on the biggest smile for them as to say, I SEE YOU! That is until I guess they decided they didn't feel like being in a staring contest and quicky looked away. It's amazing how paranoid they're becoming. They must be all over me because it seems everytime I go to this particular joint I get heat pretty quickly. I'm just waiting for the day when I get told to flat bet.

There are better ways to get rid of them. Best is to engage in conversation that will annoy or embarrass them. I've asked age-inappropriate PC's for dates (works for either sex) and asked one in a conservative part of the country to find me a hooker.

Probably the safest is to constantly pester them for comps. Beg for packs of cigarettes even if you don't smoke. They will avoid you, and it will give you some minimal protection from backoffs because they don't want the civilians to see this and think you are being thrown out for asking for comps.

I remember someone suggesting to demand high fives from the pit folks every time you won a hand. All sorts of clever.
