Default nfl pre-season

I'm not a big sports bettor, but I believe the nfl preseason offers a unique opportunity. This will be my 3rd year betting the preseason games. The first year won over $1000, while last year was not as lucrative in the $400 range, but you must remember there are only 4 weeks of preseason games, 65 games in total betting $50 game.

Now here's the thinking. It is absolutely ridiculous for there to be lines on these games!! Most of the lines tend to be a generic in the 3 point range for the home team, but even so. Thats crazy. The New york jets are 3 point favorites over the st louis rams. Are the jets 3 points better than the rams?? It doesn't even matter, because the game will most likely be determined in the second half by players that will not make either team. So the real question is "are the jets 3rd and 4th team players better than the rams third and fourth team players? Most of the guys playing at the end will end up in the canadian league or some indoor league or on a constuction site in a month. So basically what I'm saying is its a crap shoot. Its a 50-50 proposition. So if you bet the money line on the underdog in EVERY game and win roughly half the game, you will be way ahead. You really only have to win close to 40% to be even. Another reason that the underdogs do well is that the better teams, who are usually the favorites have different priorities. They just want to get ready for the regualr season without getting anyone hurt. while often times the not so good teams, especially those with a new head coach are trying to develope a sense of winning.

The one week you may want to be careful about is the third preseason week. That is the week that most teams play their starters a bit longer, into the second half, so the lines may actually be more refective of the games that week.

This year having a bit more funds than I have had in the past, I'm going to wager $100 on every game. Will let you know the results.

It's gotten a bit more difficult in the last year as the option to have them mail you a check has been "temporarily unavailable" for about a year now. They will do a bank transfer where they tranfer funds directly to your bank account, which takes about 3 days. I set up a bank account exclusively for them to transfer the funds to last year as I didn't want them to have access to accounts with any money in them.

And you are convinced that the third and fourth string players for Pittsburgh, most of whom will be cut within the next three weeks are that much better than the third and fourth string players for arizona??

First of all the number one rule of sportsbetting is don't bet with your heart. You really should not even consider any game that "your favorite team" is participating in. HOWEVER, in this case, you want to bet, not only bet, but lay odds, on players that will not be in the league in three weeks, just because for this week they are wearing steelers colors!! You have apparently missed the whole concept of this strategy.

What you are saying I totally understand. You are wasting your keystrokes trying to explain sports betting 101 to them. It's the old square peg in a round hole syndrome. You will never drive home the point. That's they way I see it.

I can't speak of what others are reporting. I can only say that over the past 3 years I have made 4 withdrawls from them and received them fairly promptly. The first three times I received a check within a week of requesting my withdrawl. (check came from bank of america, las vegas nevada) lol Last year I no longer had the option of receiving a check so I opted for a bank transfer to an account I had set up solely for this purpose. The transfer took place within 48 hours of my request.
