Las Vegas of Europe?

In case anyone hasn't heard about it, thought this video might be of interest:

Unless the Spanish invite the Americans over to develop and run the place (as in Macau?), an airport is built nearby, and lots of motorways to make it easy to get to it'll turn out to be another example of the Spanish burying their culture and heritage under several feet of reinforced concrete for questionable returns. Even with these, I'm sceptical as to whether it'll deliver on all of the promises and hype. And where's the money coming from to pay for it all? EU regional development funding? I f---king hope not! Can't see the Spanish government forking out.

More nonsense from local politicos I think. Reminds me of all of the hype surrounding the UK Govt's plans to ramp up the gaming trade in the UK - all of which seem to have disappeared into a convenient black hole.

Red tape and riff-raff aside, it has got me a little bit excited. Apparently it's going to have 30 Hotel-Casinos! That can't be far off Las Vegas. Right?
