It's based in Seattle.. but from the site there is hardly enough info to determine what they do unless you log in... Not doubting you at all.. but how do you know its a scam? PM if you want.

Its Scamway. I totally Michael Moored them during one of their meetings. I thought I was going to get stabbed. I wrote on the white board explaining the mathematical probability of their failure rate and almost got lynched.

My Ex is FOB ( Fresh off the boat ) Dont get me wrong, My kids are half and half but these a33 baggs are taking advantage college aged kids fresh in the country and taking their tuition money. That's a serious shill ZG. A little help here.

I would do anything to put this organization out of business. They are destroying lives. Scamming kids out of their money.

If there is an AP play to destroy them, I want to know.

I had a college roomate who sold Amway and finaced his drinking plus his spring breaks. In Queens, it's very popular among the latin community.
What do you see as the problem? It appears to be your typical multi-level distribution company.

No, he wasn't. I cashed many a check for him.
MLMs have made many people rich and provided a nice second income to many.
There are at least three pink caddies in my town.
My sister sold Avon for several years and did okay with it. she thought she'd do better, but didn't have the time needed in the end.

I read the Wiki entry on Amway and while I disagree with it's corp.politics, don't see anything to indicate a scam.

Actually answer any or provide any of this information. I'm sure your friend is more than willing. When you post your answer, it will go right to the fail blog..

1. The total number of distributors involved in the company for at least for three years (or since founding of the
company if less than three years).

2. The number of terminations and the number of new recruits for the past three years.

3. The net increase (new ones less those who drop out) in the number of distributors in the various ranks of the
upline as a percent of all who have been distributors for three years

4. The average incomes of all distributors who have signed up for a distributorship by percentiles, not just the ones
deemed “active.”

5. The average costs for purchasing goods or services from the MLM company or the upline by percentile of
income levels (matching the percentiles in Item #4).

6. The percentage of the incomes of the uplines that are derived from sales outside North America.

7. A “weighted” overall average income of all distributors so that the extraordinary high incomes of the small
number at the top are not calculated in with vast majority so as to give a more statistically valid figure. Thus the
top 1/10 of 1%—and certainly the founding distributors—should be eliminated from any calculation of average
income. This group's average income should be reported separately due to their distinct positioning for profiting
from the investments of all others.
