has anyone played blackjack streak? i see they have it out in colorado and i'm going to check it out tomorrow.

streak: a sidebet that pays out if you win consecutive hands. Most common payout: 2 wins pays 3:1, 3 wins pays 8:1, 4 wins pays 18:1, 5 wins pays 38:1

the best place i see this at has 6D S17, ds, rsa, with 83% pen min 5 max 100

the only problem is the low max bet but other than that looks like a pretty good game!

is it worth it to play this side bet and when do you stop? 2 wins? 3wins? or go balls out and try to get to 4 or 5?

thanks

umm... If I remember correctly, the house edge is over .040 .... it's easy enough to calculate the odds... the wizard has a good explaination of it here

How do you figure it's a 40% edge?
oops.. I've already edited it... it was suposed to be 4.0%.. :whip: I put the link up there so everyone could see... but to be absolutely accurate....it ranges from 9.7 to 3.2 %.

General Rule of Thumb - If the casino offers a side bet, it has a house advantage off the top.

I don't know what the pivot point would be, but I would think that it could be possibly beaten at a high enough count, due to the odds given.
