Playable games there.

Digi games electronic tables. No live dealers. Obviously Bacc is more popular.
Found in 4 - 5 star hotels. Foreigner only.
Sample Min - Max $5 - 200.
or some $50 - 500.

Yeah, much appreciated chichow. Adds to our smallish diaries on blackjack possibilities for Asia. Were you mostly in the capital? Keep up the reports, especially if you are going to out-of-the-way places like Lao and Cambodia. I hear Taiwan is getting casinos as well.

I understand that this is useless post with no real value or information to contribute, so please don't point that out to me, but I thought I'd just say that being half vietnamese (and having a gambling father) it's likely I will be visiting alot of places in and around Vietnam over the coming year, so I'll hopefully be able to find some more info on different BJ games that should be there.

I don't think that is a useless post at all Martin, and would appreciate any info you find on the casinos in Vietnam.

I am planning on going there soon (2010) as well so any time saving shortcuts would be appreciated.

The ones that I saw were countable.

My spelling is going to be off:

Rex hotel: 5 - 200
Caravelle: 20 - 400
Movenpick: 50 - 500

Generally just 2 - 5 tables at each place. some BJ. some Bacc.

Generally at least 2 Roul tables

Aren't digital games the same as online games where it is shuffled after every hand, regardless of what the graphics may show?

Correct me if I am wrong

i would have to do more analysis, but the games literally get to a point and then indicate that the deck will be shuffled before the next hand is dealt
