Default what happened to the casino comps?

I've recently returned to playing after a long hiatus and was wondering what others thought about casino comp rates these days, particularly in CT. I seem to remember racking up comp points on table games in general at a much higher rate in the past. I know that obviously the casinos have cut way back but it almost seems ridiculous now. I played BJ at mohegan sun last night for about 2 hours on a $15 table and 1 hour on a $25 table. My bet fluctuated between 1x and 3x the minimum table bet, not really big stakes but after almost 3 hours play I was rewarded with just 2 comp dollars. Is that just the going rate these days or did I just hit a fluke? Just wondered what others have experienced. I remember playing $5 tables just a few years ago and generating around 10-20 comp dollars per hour. $1 per hour seems insulting.

Casino revenues are down and so are comps.

I don't play the Conn. casinos but it seems to me I get much better comps in houses I play on a regular basis than ones I hit only on an irregular basis.
