Default is this possible ?

looking for some expert advice. I play on a casino ship in florida. I'm looking to supplement my income just a little, maybe 200 dollars a week. playing once a week. I take 1000 dollars with me. I play perfect basic strategy. but don'.t count. I use walters progression from 10-25 dollars. I play very easy and i'm willing to sit there for 12 hours if necessary. I don.t want to lose my stake, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if i do? Is this possible or am I dreaming? Thanks very much

Sorry, but you're dreaming.

No progression system can change the ever-present house edge. You can come out ahead of the game by playing basic strategy if you count the comps at full value. But you should expect to lose about 0.5% of all your action at the table. At a typical speed table with typical rules, that works out to about half an average bet per hour.

If you want to have a positive profit expectation, you'll have to learn to count.

... and that counting will have to be done against a shoe dealt game. From what I have heard the Florida casino ships use a constant shuffling machine which would negate even the slight advantage of counting. It may be something you'll need to check out before trying your luck on the wide open ocean. :D

Default automatic shuffler

I have played against the automatic shuffler machine called the "SAM KING"..It's a horrible device...The good thing is YOU will receive more blackjacks BUT ! SO will the dealer!..About TWICE as many as YOU!!..I swear I have observed the sam king continous shuffler for hours and noticed that the dealer deals themselves blackjack once out of every six hands...This means MAJOR, MAJOR losses to the players!!! ....All I/m saying is be very careful playing against it and always use BS against it and keep the bets LOW...
