Default Harrah's AC

Anybody been out to the marina in a while? Taking advantage of a room tomorrow night, and we'll be staying at Harrah's.

Any observations on BJ games, craps mins./odds, and VP quality?

Thanks in advance. good luck

Blackjack observations: The games at harrah's continue to suck, as they have for several years now. H17 games with lousy pen. Better off to take the 5 minute jitney ride to Borgata.

Nothing playable at Harrahs. Yes, go to the nearby Borgata.

It is walkable, but the jitney runs 24/7 and costs $2.25

Thanks for the quick replies, fellas. Pretty much what I expected to hear.

Any idea on craps odds and min/max ranges though?

If you want to shoot craps in A.C. Ballys (and the attached) Wild Wild West offer 10 X Odds. The others all offer 5 X. Most have 14' tables. Some are 12 '

If you are staying at Harrahs there is a free shuttle to all of their stores from 10:00 a.m. until around 10:30 p.m.

Be on the lookout for their buffet promos. Last week I scored two comp buffets for earning 100 base reward credits at The Showboat. Saw a similar offer at Ballys. Thats $1,000 cycled thru a VP machine. Even with their lousy paybacks, I think it's a worthwhile promo.
I played the nickle 100 play machines and ended up cashing out a few bucks ahead, besides the buffets. At $25 a spin, it took about 15 minutes to get the 100 points and I play slow.

Chef, I was there a few days ago. Here are some updates on shops at marina district:

1) Trump Marina---forget about it!

2) Borgata--- nothing's new except:
Its $5 6decker is gone and replaced by a $5 8decker.

3) Harrah's---forget about it except:
a) It's good for fishing. Bring your fishing poles & gears. It gets a nice fishing pier, and
b) It's also good for swimming in its pretty indoor pool. Bring swimming gears for your wife and yourself.

That is the exact reason we chose Harrah's Resort over the other HET properties...looks amazing. The suits are going in the bag in about 30 minutes!

good luck

Thanks for the advice gang.

Thought you gave up on AC a long time ago?

The Suits from Trump invited myself and two others from Purgotorio down to bounce some ideas off us, as they are looking to give their club a make-over As I had some Reel Reward coupons, I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone.
