Computer software for counting practice?

My wrist is getting tired from flipping over the cards.
Also, I think the rate at which I flip the cards definitely affect the speed.
I sometimes flip three cards by accident or drop the cards and stuff.
Is there a computer software that flashes cards on the screen,
so I can practice without getting carpal tunnel syndrome?
Thanks.

There are several out there. I use Casino Verite by QFIT. You can practice counting and BS with this tool. It has lots of useful drills.

QFIT makes several products that I think you'll find very useful. While you're at the site, also check out CVCX. It's great for understanding your edge, how much to bet, etc.

I just got my cvbj a few days ago and I'm amazed at how much it has. It will test you on everything you need to have down before playing for reals.

By the way ArticInferno, "cvbj" refers to the same QFIT software.

It's easier and much faster if you don't flip over the cards. Just hold them face-up and use your thumb to slide then from one hand to the other. That will help you count them together too.

Thanks for the advice on CVBJ.
Yes, it's great.
I need to practice back-counting.
Is there a way to make it play without me?
I want to just sit back and back-count, without having to click the mouse or hit the keyboard.

The counting drills can be used for that. They can be set so you count down a full shoe.

Why do you trust the results from sims if you have no other way to confirm them?
  1. Because overall results can be confirmed in published works
  2. Because different sims can be compared against one another
  3. Because my own Monte Carlo simulations in Excel are consistent with my packaged sim
  4. Because the open source nature of the Internet helps weed out incorrect designs
  5. Because there is no better alternative
  6. Because no one lives long enough to get to the long run anyway
  7. Because Norm told me that everything would turn out alright :)
  8. Because I'm a blonde :)

1. The published works may be based on the same sims.
2. Neither could be correct. Why compare?
3. What if both are wrong?
4. Many people believing in something does not mean it is correct.
5. Being wrong is worse than no better alternative.
6. Then why sim for the long run?
7. Who is Norm?
8. That may make it even less reliable!

No. I think it is scientific reasoning.

Whatever simulator you use, if you have not found some obvious errors, good luck with your results!

Well, I guess that's why they call it gambling instead of quantum physics.

I'm still very busy working on fixing the obvious errors in my play, my act, and my psychology. Once I get past those, perhaps the errors in my software will become more evident. :)

Apparently you have a lot of errors to fix!
