Anyone been to Paragon in Marksville & Cypress Bayou/Shorties in Charenton, LA?

6D conditions seem worth scouting--wondering are these out-of-the way joints worth the trip? (Please PM if necessary.)

In general, small rural Southern outposts that give good playing conditions are very intolerant of winners and can be quick to back off a skilled player.

In such places, green chip players are "whales" and are closely scrutinized.

I have had the shift manager actually sit down at my table at more than one 'country store'.

Also, they most often have little (or no) worthwhile comps to offer.

The bottom line is that - as a rule - they are not worth the traveling.
