Whats IC?

The only casino's I am familar with are

Walker Hill (Paradise) - Seoul
7 Luck - Seoel at Coex Mall
7 Luck - Seoul at Millenium Hilton
The one at the airport hotel by incheon (paradise) - Incheon

7-luck - busan (this is the only one I have no been too)

The game is good in Korea.

Walker hill is mostly 8 deck (but 1 to a couple of the tables are 6 deck. Not sure of the ryhme or reason. But it's not always the higher roller one. I have seen the 10-1000 table be 6 deck too).
-the spread is awesome. Can't beat 10-1000 per hand.
Penetration is 80% (1 deck cut off).
DSA, LS

But I don't know what you mean by IC?

But I can give u my opinion of Walker hill vs 7 Luck...

Walker hill has more (less crowded) tables than 7 Luck - adv Walker Hill
7 Luck is all 6D, whereas Walker Hill is mostly 8D - adv 7 Luck
Walker hill has some heat, 7 luck has NONE at all - adv 7 luck
Walker hill is 10-1000, 7 luck is 10-500 - adv Walker Hill
Walker hill does have the one loan 5k won table (which is always full), the only other 5k won table is the lil casino at the airport, which is a sudivision of Walker hill (same managment).

Walker Hill I see more expats and many people from China and Japan.

7 Luck, I see as lower end and more just people from China.

--

How many tables do you think are at 7 Luck? How many pits?

--

I agree with Walker. There is weirdness in which are sometimes 6 deck instead of 8 deck.

--

What are your thoughts regarding the weekend play? Crowded starting at 7 pm all the way till 4 am ish? and hence the tables are not as playable?

Default Just ask

In Walker Hill, you can ask the pit boss to use 6 decks instead of 8 decks. Usually it's 8 decks. However, some Japanese like to play 6-deck and most of the time the pit boss would agree to switch. Later when they change cards, they would switch back to 8 decks unless someone asked to keep using 6 decks.

Also, If you want to count card in Walker Hill, be very careful. Don't spread over 1 to 20.

chichow,

If your asking about WH, I don't know. I played there twice, and was banned my 2nd time. Take san's advice. no insane spreads. With hindsight being 20/20, the heat there is NOT that bad, I mean it.
- this is as up front as i can be: It was about my 10th time in a casino counting, and my first time for medium stakes. (i had played 100hrs or so at low stakes and was ready to go bigger). I played 13hrs on sat, and made 11k *usd*, then on sun, i went for the kill. I played for 3 hrs, and was down 1,800. Out of "frustration" after they brought out a new deck, I asked and almost demanded that they show me the cards. (like in USA), they said NO, its house rules. I said, "how do i know there are not extra 5s in there and Aces taken out". Then i asked a pit boss, if they can please do this, as it's only fair.
my point here is THIS ...in addition to spreading 10 x 1 up to 1000 x 3 is what broke the camels back. If i would of never said a word about the cards, I would probably still be good to go there. I guess my main point it, YES "there is heat" there. But it's definatly something that the slightest bit of camo should be able to take care of ok. I was doing literally EVERYTHING wrong in the book of camo, i mean EVERYTHING..and i was there for a total of 16hrs, and up total of a lil under 10k usd. (learn from my mistake, etc)

so thats WalkerHill....great game, 10-1000, but the decks are 8
i do not know how crowded they are. they have more tables

7 luck coex:

10-500 tables....its 3-4 open
50-2000 tables its 2-3 open
100 to 3000 tables, its 3 open
200 to 4000 tables (i think...) 1 open

but yea, on a weekend night, it gets VERY packed. You could very well wait standing for 45min-1hr for a spot on the 10-500 table.

I arrive on the weekends EARLY morning, and play till late afternoon ish
thats me

when its packed, and there are 6 at the table, (ok im finally answering your question here) MOST of the time it is still very playable. You just have to be creative.
- if the person beside me plays BS. Then when the count gets to TC2 or more, I just spread it out and bet on his hand as well
- if the person beside me is a moron, then I tread water with just 1 hand and wait till I can move seats or another table opens. But most of the time, there is a person u can play on their hand, that plays BS. (of course u might miss a high level index play)...but it still outweights only playing 1 hand in a pos count (to me). The higher level tables are very wongable too, since they are much less packed. Mid shoe entry is expected and super common.

hope that answers

http://www.7luck.com/

that has the lists of how many BJ tables. I guestimated, but the breakdown of which by table limits i listed in my post above...

it's playable even in the most crowded conditions, AS LONG AS you have someone beside you to spread it out with.

When i go w/ a freind, (he plays the same game, but its not a team/joint bankroll or anything). We just play on each other's hands. ( I put 50 on mine, 50 on his. He puts 50 on mine, and 50 on his) etc.

Thanks for the replies.

Some thoughts:

I personally have seen large bet ramps at Walker Hill. I really do think what did you in was the insistence on flipping the new cards.

--

I was afraid of that...regarding the peak playing times. I have also seen those crowded tables on weekend nights. I am also not willing to play if there are more than one or two other players at the tables. So if I play, I'll have to leave my S. Korean friends and just play a session at 4 or 5 am in the morning

--

I'm not coming to play BJ specifically, but I'll be there for a couple of days in the next month or two.

I fail to see how cameo is going to help at Korean casinos.

I say this, because I am pretty sure that most Korean casino's are only for foreign nationals and at least for the ones that I have been to they check your passport upon entry.

So if they want to track you and your play, I don't think its too difficult for their surveillance to follow the players.

you show your passport to get in the door for hte buidling, after that, you take 2 flights of stairs and go to the floor.

The passport check at the main entry is basically (imo):
a) to see if you are of age
b) to make sure u are not a local national
and that's it.

When you are playing, unless you present a member card or something, they don't know who you are. When you get meals, it even says "no name" on the ticket. I can't agree, I don't think the surveliance tracking players is too much concern at all from my experiences.

In regards to WH, your probably/definatly correct. It was my insistance on the card flipping. Rookie mistake. That's how we learn, or well i did there.

If you go to the 100 min table, you can get that kind of space at the table most of the time (even during peak hours).

-but for the 10-500 yea, you can play your 2 (of 6 hands) and that's the best it get's.

-If you show at crazy off hours, you can get a one on one 100 min, OR a 10-500 with probably 1 other player (maybe 2).

U have a higher chance of getting 1 on 1 action at walker hill, than you do 7 luck.
