Question Riverside Casino Laughlin

I had a fairly successful session at the Riverside Casino in Laughlin, NV. Several rules were somewhat unusal to me. You can only dd on 10 or higher. Other than that, standard rules apply. The other thing I found unusal was that the dealer does not shuffle the cards on a 6-deck shoe. The dealer calls for a shuffle and the pit hands him a pack of shuffled cards. The pit critter then takes the played cards and hand shuffles them in the pit. ??? Does this raise a flag with anyone or is it just a way to speed the game in hand shuffle casinos. Riverside casino has a single deck BJ using the same rules as 6-deck. BJ pays 3:2 and they claim to be the only single deck game in Laughlin that pays 3:2. I broke even on the single deck game and won about $200 playing the 6-deck shoe. My friend, a very high roller, won on the 6-deck game and lost big time on the single deck game.

It would certainly cut down on Ace tracking. Other than that so long as the decks are not stacked or stripped of any cards it just seems like a way to speed things up.
