Are Betting Spreads Interchangeable For Balanced Count Systems?

#1
Hello,

Does anyone know if I can use the same betting spread for different balanced count systems without compromising the effectiveness of either one? For example, if I use a certain betting spread for HiLo given a specific set of game rules and conditions, would it be appropriate to use that same spread for Zen for that specific set of rules/conditions, or does each balanced system have its own spread?

If each balanced count system has its own unique betting spread, where can I find it? Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Nathaniel

Hmmm...I would have to say, for the most part, "yes." A counting system determines when the composition of the shoe favors the player. When it does, the player bets as much as possible. Full stop.

I suspect it is possible to show, through simulation, that the optimal bet spreads are slightly different for counting systems with different playing efficiencies and betting efficiencies, but for practical purposes, I doubt that it matters.

Of course after playing 2 billion hands, you would probably would see a difference from one to another. Come back to this forum after you play your first billion hands, and let us know...

You are commenting about the counts, aren't you?

He was asking about the betting.
Generally each count has a related optimum betting strategy.

the sims of the link are for bet spread, and is different for each strategy of count cards, each strategy have a different granularity (for the TC) different advantage against the casino , and different behavior according differents rules (that is for the tags) sometimes a strategy is better for a game against other and with differents rules is reverse.
