I am relatively new on this board. I like to ask new members/players that whose posts improved your game the most.

Personally, I have learned from posts of various members. However, the key element from kewjason's posts improved my game the most. It is simple, effective, and statistically sound, too. With some additions to fit my specific shoe game, so far it has been working great. Thanks kewjason for sharing your knowledge and experience here!

Although that is very flattering, psyduck, I must tell you that you are putting me in a class that I don't belong. There are so many others on this board that have so much more to offer than I do. So many people that I have learned such a great deal from and continue to learn so much from. I've said before that is the true value and beauty of this board. Sharing experiences and learning from each other and am flattered if I have helped you or anyone else in some small way. Some of the truely great ones, unforetunately choose not to chime in too often and for that we are all poorer. :(

You can find gems from many, many posters here, sometimes you just have to look harder,,,but so many great minds here and most very polite.

I would say, Maz, Bojack, JG, and D-BO.

Also I never miss a posting from my best buddy Sage"Wise Won" Frog or the newcomer Machinist. Standard Deviant shows an exceptional intellect which we all enjoy.:)

Kewjason, what I said was truth based on my own experience here. I have learned from a lot of members here, but your posts improved my game the most. That is all.

I am probably twice your age. I have to say you are not only capable of what you do, but also very humble. That is a great character I do not see in a lot of young people. As a result, your current success does not surprise me that much.

I totally agree. Based on my experience, this is the greatest BJ site. I visit this site more than the weather site for sure!

This forum is indeed an extremely valuable resource. It is impossible to say which poster has helped me most along the way, but many have, especially those who have been proflic for years. If I can recommend one thing to new members it is that you read and re-read all the old posts on these forums. I have read every post in the Card Counting forum over the last few months and have had countless questions answered by these posts from the past. I would like to join the other posters in thanking everyone for the wisdom they have chosen to share.

Psyduck, what was the advice KewlJason gave you?
He did not give me advice directly. I do not want to describe how he plays. It is more accurate for you to read his posts, some recent.

I think Wonging is the most effective way to attack the game. You need to create some unique ways to Wong to fit your specific environment.

The person that has had the greatest influence on my game would be Syph, admittedly, most of his posts were on Snyders site but he did start to post here a few months ago. I hope he starts up again!

favorite posters

As a fairly new player, I can say that I have received good advice on this and other boards from more posters than I could mention. I have read the books and they all contain valuable information, but the specific advice you can receive from posters is priceless. I have learned so much about spreads, wonging in/out, RoR, etc. One specific piece of advice is that I was a red chipper, and somewhat paranoid about heat, so kept my spreads narrow. I received advice from an experienced AP that there was little chance of receiving heat at my level, so I shouldn't concern myself with it. I took that advice and widened my spread. That has been very profitable advice.

In regard to kewljason, he is probably correct in saying that others are more knowledgeable, but some of the more experienced people are sometimes talking at a level that some of the newer people have a hard time comprehending. Kewljason seems to be a bit closer to us, and his advice is easier to put into practice.

ah, finally a thread i can participate in...they are so few and far between! i spend a lot of time on these forums just reading through old threads in the card counting, gemeral, stories, las vegas, and even the voodoo section from time to time.

there have been so much knowledge and wisdom provided. let's see...bojack, rjt, cp, excaa, ken, aslan, shadrock, kimlee, blackchip, booker, am, and even zg. there are too many to remember. there are a few who have been on these boards for some time, but they only post once in a blue moon...but when they do...

I whole heartedly agree with all the above comments........There are a couple of posters that really stickout for me as i was searching for my answers....
Exhibit CAA, MAZ, Bojack1, There are posts that absolutely will lead you in the right direction if you are willing to ask the question..."Why would he say such a thing"????
I still have a few unaswered questions that i have had for a year...Some have been answered as my experience grows with the game. But hell new questions are always popping up in my head.
Also there was one "scheduled interview" that motivated me...
I can also say that the CHAT sessions have been invaluable....To all that i have chatted with ...private and not private....thanks!!!!
The BASH has been very influencial also....
My most valuable 2 cents as far as posters is ......Hit the chat up and participate...listen and learn.......invaluable!!!!!!!
