what differences are there in your approach when considering games that are roughly equivalent in all aspects - rules, pen, heat, limits - but with the change of H17 instead of S17. Are there changes in betting ramp, since your advantage is a paltry .2%ish at TC2? What would be the net result of using S17 indexs on a H17 game?

not much dif

Well as long as its still a playable game with H17 and everything else remains equal, I would use the same betting ramp. As far as the indices's go, the only changes are with dealer 6 and A so if you use the S17 indices's, i believe it would mostly be the same, but you would be using a more conservative approach because you dd more often on H17 indices's. Just look over a chart and refresh your memory when you go somewhere with H17 or S17.

I will say this, you better do your homework.

Something else, if I am to play a h-17 shoe game there better be something there to make up for that onerous feature, because no casino is going to make me its Bitch!

Actually, with H17 at +2TC, your advantage is about +.55%. You start out at around -.60% BS, improve to +.40% at +2TC, then improve to about +.55% due to some gain from index plays at that point. With H17, you do need a solid +1.5 TC to begin your ramp.
