Penn National
Charlestown Race and Slots is going to have table games and they are owned by Penn National. Does anybody know what kind of BJ rules they offer at other Penn National casinos?
Thanks...

Penn
I frequent at Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. It is owned by Penn. It is hard to find a game that is dealt out of a shoe and not an automated shuffler.
There are probably 6 tables total that are shuffled by hand, but they are still 6 decks. Dealer hits on soft 17, no surrender at anytime, no draw out 6 cards, not the worst game, but definitely not the best.

It's not THAT bad. Just standard midwest blackjack. 6 decks, 1.5, H17 DAS. They've got a pitch game but it's D10 and $50 min.

I prefer Grand Victoria's 25 min game. Two Deck, Double Anytime, Double After Split, No mid-shoe entry. Ive never lost at this game. Dealers there are more homely and less cocky/professional.

I've had sparse play at those two places over the last 3 years, but I would tend to agree with you on this one for both cards and dice...Grand Vic was always preferable in my book.
Back to the original question for the group, are the former Argosy's conditions what Penn National properties like Charlestown and Hollywood @ Penn National going to be like? Or do we think they will mimic AC more?
good luck

I'd expect H17. Other than that, hard to say unless there's competition.
