I believe i was one of the first people to get Version 5 of CVdata/CVCX. Simply put, version 5 is another step towards completeness. Two thumbs up, 5 stars out of 5. THE only simulator you would need until Version 6 comes out. Please save the kittens and go buy the software :)

P.S: I must also appologize publicly to QFIT for the extra headache i gave him with my request for NextCarding support

Love this new feature: "The custom side bet feature, added previously, allows a huge number of side bets and bonuses to be added. Because of its flexibility, and the increasing number of complex new rules casinos are adding, it can become difficult to determine if your settings are correct. A new Debug feature allows you to stack a deck and run a one round sim to test custom bonuses and side bets. You specify the exact cards to be dealt, including face cards and suits if desired. You can then see if the bet is handled as you expect."

I've had some difficulties getting my custom side bets to work correctly, so I look forward to trying out the debug feature.

I will probably upgrade before too long. Just wish this was out several weeks ago when I purchased CVData and CVCX (and CVBJ). Oh well... Looks like it should be worth the extra $$ :)

The feature works best with the new log function. Of course the log will only be one round when the debug feature is used.

No. That option may exist internally. But I can't remember anyone asking for it. You might be able to add this using the custom bonus feature. It can handle hands above 21.

Wow I can't thank you enough for implementing the ability to apply CVCX calculations from the CVData results screen...I've been able to achieve SCOREs higher than I previously thought possible compared to my earlier methods of just using CVCX separately and trying to tweak things from there, tediously using guess and check. Truly optimizing multi hand and wonging strategies is now extremely effective and easy!

It almost works. You can set a rule where if the dealer has 22 and the player has less than 22 he gets a "bonus" of -1. But it doesn't get DD hands right.

What's the update procedure?

<- Just bought CVCX like two weeks ago and is still unfamiliar with how things are supposed to work
