Whatcha guys think on these rules. I know could be alittle better but considering how the rules are at other riverboats along the ohio river:
8 Decks
Pen appears to be about 2 deck depends on dealer
Hit soft 17
Split aces 4 times
Split pairs unlimited no limit
Late surrender
Double any 2 or split
3:2 payout

Just went there and while small had plenty of tables and comps was generous as well.

I think they are losing alot of hands per hour and thus losing money.

Can you draw to split aces, double on split aces,,very important?

Hand shuffle, (I doubt it)?

Min-Max?

Hi CP,

If you have 2 A's and get another A then can resplit upto 4 Aces. You only get one card and can not double on an A just like most other blackjack games.

Hand shuffle, (I doubt it)?
Yes, all their tables are Hand Shuffle, They have no automatic shufflers.
Min-Max?
From what I was told, $5 during the weekdays w/ 500 Max, and usually $10 MIN with $500 or $1000 Max but can be $15 on Fri/Sat Nights.

RPD,

Thanks for the info.

I guess it comes down to the shuffle.

Now The Comps....

Signing up for their card since I'm a low man player has yielded in my opinion, some decent comps for my level of play.

$60 Cash - Apr 1 - Apr 14
$60 Cash - Apr 15 - Apr 30
Free Room Anytime
2 Free Buffets

So obviously, we're going to go up on April 14th to get both cash coupons and stay the night :)

Grand Victoria Rising Sun is a refreshing play, they want your business and treat the gambler at least as good as Jack Binion did when he owned the Horseshoe brand. As reported in CBJN, the "high limit" game has terrific rules with penetration as good as 5/6 and virtually never worse than 4.5/6. Min/Max is usually 25-1000 but they will bump it up to 2K (plus you can play 3 hands) once they are confortable with you. Wonging in is out as its NMS and frequently there is only one high limit game going.

I was just reading their Players Club deals and wow it seems pretty nice. Free rooms, free gold, free everything!

What is "Cash Back" as it relates to a casino though?

I will be heading up there the middle of next month :)

Nice to know there is a casino that kinda cares about the player with their generous offers.
