First you need to have a fix on the # of players at the table.If it's about 2 or 3 plus the dealer and esp. if you have a friend with you,tell him before hand to ask you 'Should I tip the dealer?'' You reply "Yeah, if we're winning after the 10th hand. Then she deserves a tip. If she shuffles up before, pull 'em down. Keep track if she starts stretching the deck.Needless to say. Don't over tip and do it only when the deck is HOT. You can even progress if she goes deeper. Just don't mess up your EV significantly.

Casinos are very sensitive to bet spreads in all their hand held games. I doubt you'd last an hour if you got aggressive on the last round.

The ingredients for a beatable game are:
75% + penetration.
allow bet spreads of 1 to 10 units (by taking multiple hands)
getting to play at least 80 hands an hour.

So where can you find games that will allow 80% penetration, a 1 to 10 bet spread, and deal you 80 + hands an hour?
Indian Casinos at their $25 and up six deck games.

I doubt that you could get the dealer to give you good penetration with dialog and tips.The shift pit boss is the guy who usually determines penetration. What good is it to give the dealer a $5 tip in a spot where you have a 3% advantage and a $100 bet out there. He makes $5 and you lose $2.
I'd rather play a six deck game with 80% penatration and forget about those perks that are worth about .3% at best.

This is a decent game. You should be able to spread 1-6 and do well. 1-6 spread should give you close to 1% advantage. Respliting aces is awesome when the count goes high! I wouldnt bother trying to get better pen.. thats just me though.
