Best Casinos Near SW Missouri

I may be moving to Joplin, MO. This somewhat freaks me out after growing up near NYC. What casinos do you recommend in the area? What general tips would you provide?

Had Joplin mixed up with St Joseph.

I've got the book and know the site. I was hoping for some field reports. Maybe some of the people in St. Joseph could drive south, try some casinos and report back. They would probably not get any further south than Kansas City which, I believe is in MO, not KS. :grin:

Actually both.

I always get it confused, with Kansas City, TX. And then there's Kansas City, CA. And Kansas City, OR. That place really gets around!

Still looking for some recommendations if anyone has any.

And Michigan City is in Indiana. Go figure.

Quantity, not necessarily quality

Tunica is 250 NM S.E. of Joplin... 11 or 12 stores. There are a mix of games some good, some ok, some not so good. (mostly depends on your abilities).
I haven't been there in a few months, but next trip, I'll scout it. PM the type game you are looking for.

There are other good games sporadically, N.E., and sometimes West and East at about that same radius. Also I have some sleepers a little farther out.
